Maud Giethoorn
Drents champion
Equestrianism is in her genes. Her mother rode in her childhood years up to the time of her first pregnancy and so the apple does not fall far from the tree. Maud won her first title as Drenthe champion in the M class in 2019, followed by 7 more regional titles.
Her international pony days have ended and her pony has been sold to America. This pony she trained all the way from saddle training to the highest attainable level. With beautiful prizes won at CDI competitions in France, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, she is now starting a new chapter with the horses in the Juniors class of 16 to 18 years old for which she will participate in Framework & Broadcasting competitions for which the highest possible percentages have to be ridden for broadcast to international competitions.
The 2025 goal:
- Placement for international competitions
- Regional Champion
- Podium spot Dutch championships
Since this year Maud is sponsored by Insolution. A good sole in your riding boot ensures a correct posture on the horse and the impact of your hips. Maud has a wobble in her lower back which causes her to have a kink on her right side and therefore ride tighter with her left hand. Insolution’s soles allow her to sit straight with her back and her lower back no longer bothers her while riding.
